What is exhibition?

once upon a time, your younger, idealistic self had a dream job. it probably wasn't accountant or whatever you've fallen into accidentally (which we're sure you love because you work at THE ICONIC). as life goes, somewhere along the way you let creative pursuits go because bills don't pay themselves and houses don't grow their own deposits or self pay mortages.

exhibition seeks to ressurect dormant creative talents and give you a rare opportunity to share your art, in whatever format, with the world at a real life gallery like real life artists (without the pressure of having a million and one pieces).

we're doing this because your inner creative is crying to get out, be challenged and feel inspired. this is your time to shine.

how does it work?

1. Create an artwork about Liberation
2. Submissions open 8 January 2019
3. Submit your work via the form at the bottom of this page before 23 January 2019
4. Successful artists will be notified on 5 February
5. Set up your art at the gallery & be there for the launch party!

Should I submit artwork?

are you up before the sun with a camera in hand?
occasionally find a splash of paint on your shoes?
have charcoal smudges on your palms?
heard that you should enter the Archibald?
find potters clay under your fingernails?
collect discarded treasure from the side of the road & assemble installations?
